Brown Bread

Our 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes got busy last week making delicious brown bread.  Unfortunately not all the loaves made it home – they were quickly eaten!

Nattering Knitters

Our knitters have been very productive this term, knitting lots of animals, scarves, Christmassy items, ballerinas and much more. They are doing well and improving all the time.

Thanks to Mrs. Crilly for stitching all our knits together!

Muckalee Pitch Development Fundraiser

Work will very shortly commence on a new Dressing Room development at Muckalee pitch. Representatives from Muckalee Football Club and St. Martin’s Hurling Club will be calling to all houses in the parish to promote the “buy a brick” campaign to assist with financing the development.

Bricks will cost €100 and the names of those supporting the campaign will be prominently displayed on the wall of the new clubhouse.

Please support this campaign if you can. The children in Coon N.S. are lucky to have a pitch beside the school and we are very fortunate to be able to use it for school activities and sports.
