We are delighted that children who have attended the Naíonra Realta Beaga have joined us in Coon N.S.
A Naíonra is a pre-school where children learn and play through the medium of the Irish language. The Naíonra in Coon opened in September 2007 with a small number of children and, with the support of families in the area, has expanded to offer better facilities.
The Naíonra run a morning session from 9.30am to 1.00pm, Monday to Friday, in the 
Community Hall in the village of Coon. The Naíonra offers a great variety of activities, arts & crafts and play. It is ECCE approved for the free pre-school year.
